Alum Creek Drive Boat and RV Storage is a dedicated boat, RV, and vehicle storage site in south Columbus, built around parking and easy access instead of a crowded garage, driveway, or yard. You’ll find us along the Alum Creek Drive corridor near Three Creeks Park, with quick connections to the I-270 Outerbelt (the Jack Nicklaus Freeway) and the Southeast Expressway. Along with covered parking for boats, RVs, and personal vehicles, we keep self-storage units for the gear that travels with them.
You’ll find us on Alum Creek Drive on the south side of Columbus, near the Three Creeks Park Dog Park, Three Creeks Canoe and Fishing Access, Heron Pond, and Sycamore Creek Athletic Fields — an easy reach for customers coming from south Columbus, Obetz, Groveport, and the southeast side.
Take the Alum Creek Drive exit and follow the Alum Creek Drive corridor into south Columbus toward the Three Creeks Park area.
Connect toward the I-270 Outerbelt, then follow Alum Creek Drive to us.
Head south toward the Alum Creek Drive area on the south-side routes, then continue toward Three Creeks Park.
This is a boat-, RV-, and vehicle-focused location, so most of what we do is parking. Spaces are available for boats, RVs, and personal vehicles, including covered parking in a range of sizes.
Availability can change, so it’s worth checking current parking options before you reserve.
Along with vehicle parking, we keep self-storage units for the things that go with a boat, RV, or vehicle — camping gear, boating accessories, seasonal items, tools, boxes, and household belongings. Units run up to 10×30; current sizes are shown in the unit list above on this page.
Here’s what you’ll find when you store with us:
Boat and RV owners make up most of our customers — people keeping a trailered boat, motorhome, or travel trailer off the driveway and close to the Alum Creek and Scioto waterways. We’re also a practical option for households clearing garage, driveway, or yard space for oversized gear, and for personal-vehicle owners who want a dedicated parking option away from home.
Plenty of customers pair a parking space with a self-storage unit, using it for camping equipment, boating accessories, tools, and seasonal items so everything stays together in one place.
Central Ohio brings hot, humid summers and cold winters with freeze-thaw swings — conditions worth planning for before you store a boat, RV, or vehicle for an extended stretch. Use a quality breathable cover, set tire pressure correctly, and remove food, liquids, and anything that could freeze.
A few habits make a unit easier to live with:
